Frequently Asked Questions
How can I ensure that my stuff won't get lost in the post?
It is rare that this occurs but in the case of any parcels going missing, Pure Pleasure Music are not responsible for any Post Office losses or mishandlings. As such, we always recommend that you pay for recorded / registered post to minimise any risk. It also insures you for any losses - recorded delivery insures you for up to £27.00 (UK) whilst registered post insures you for up to £250.00. The other beneficial factor is that your goods will have a tracking number so you can check at any time to find out the location of your goods. Ultimately it is your decision but for peace of mind and at a small cost, we do recommend you using this service.
The record I ordered is not what I thought it was, can I change it?
No problem, as long as you send it back within the timelines specified within our trading policies on the 'Delivery and Returns' page.
How long can I expect delivery to take?
We always aim to despatch your records as quickly as possible but ultimately it is down to Royal Mail and there is very little we can do to speed up deliveries. So in any event, please allow 7 days for delivery within the U.K; 14 days for deliveries to Europe and 21 days for delivery to Japan / U.S.A and the rest of the World.
I have a tape of tracks that I am after but I don't know the titles of them. If I send you a copy of it, can you identify them for me?
We will do our utmost to try and help you out but please make sure you enclose a Stamped-Addressed-Envelope if you want us to send your tape back.
I really like the way you have described a certain track but can I listen to it before I purchase it?
As we do not have sound bites yet on this site, you can always phone us to listen to any track of your choice before purchasing. Although this is not ideal, it has become a useful tool in helping you make a decision.
I live in Outer Mongolia and I want to order 5 records, how much will the postage be?
Please look at our 'Delivery and Returns' page for details of all rates as well as prices for recorded / registered post.
What does D-Pack P mean ?
This is a shortened term that can be explained in the 'Abbreviations' section shown below.
What's the easiest way to pay for my goods ?
The easiest way to pay for your goods is by ordering online using a credit card (all major credit / debit cards are acceptable). All online transactions are processed using industry standard 128 bit SSL encryption to ensure your credit card details remain secure. Alternatively you can order over the phone or by mail, using a credit card, cheque or postal order for payment.
